We have been in the same spot in Mahmutlar for 18 years. What we offer is not a show for tourists, but a tradition practised properly.
Our Story
It began as a neighbourhood hammam
When we opened in 2008, Mahmutlar was nowhere near as busy as it is today. We were a small single-domed neighbourhood hammam and most of our customers were our neighbours; when they gave directions they didn't use the address, they said "the hammam at the top of the street".
The area grew over the years and our guests changed. Today families on holiday in Alanya, foreign neighbours who have settled in Mahmutlar, and travellers passing through all come through our door. One thing has not changed: the same loosened expression on everyone's face as they leave.
We rebuilt the facility in 2019 — new marble navel stone, a sauna and steam room, separate massage rooms. But we left the ritual itself alone; there is no sense in changing something that works.

Hygiene
Not up for negotiation
In a hammam and spa, hygiene is not a feature — it is the baseline. Here is what we do:
- The navel stone and basins are disinfected after every guest.
- The kese mitt is single-use and opened in front of you.
- Peshtemals and towels are washed at 90°C and changed daily.
- Water circulation and chlorination are measured and logged daily.
- Massage beds are covered with a fresh disposable sheet between sessions.
- Our health authority inspection certificates hang at reception.

What we have
Hot room
A heated marble navel stone, a domed ceiling and six basins. Up to 12 people at a time.
Sauna & steam
A Finnish sauna and a eucalyptus steam room; both included with every hammam package.
Four massage rooms
Rooms that close individually, plus a private twin-bed room for couples.
Relaxation pool
An indoor heated relaxation pool and a cooling area with loungers.
Lockable changing rooms
Separate changing areas for women and men, with digital locks on wristbands.
Night shift
A full team works through the night — a guest arriving late receives exactly the same service.

Opening Hours
Our door never closes
A hammam should not be squeezed into a few hours of the day. Whether it is six in the morning before work or two at night straight off a flight, you get the same welcome.
We are open seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. A full team works through the night — a guest arriving late receives exactly the same service.
